Description

Single award term contract for period beginning December 1, 2001 and ending November 30, 2002 for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA). Production area, assumed 100-kilometer (62-mile) radius of Baltimore, MD. Bidders outside area must furnish documentation of their ability to meet schedule. Copy pickup in Baltimore, MD. Approximately 15 to 70 orders per month ( averaging approximately 38 orders). Up to 9 orders may be placed on the same workday for as many as 3 days in one week, 100 to 45,000 copies per order. An occasional order may exceed 45,000 copies, with 2 to 350 pages per order. An occasional order may exceed 350 pages. Size: 216 x 279 mm (8 x 11 inches). Print head-to-head, head-to-foot, and/or head-to-side in black ink or a color other than black. Two-page product prints face only or, face and back in black ink or a color other than black. Operations include making films/reproducibles, printing, binding, drilling, packing, and distribution. Deliver f.o.b. contractor's city for all mailed shipments and f.o.b. destination for all other shipments. Quality attributes level IV. Bid opening anticipated in October 2001.
