- Description
- This notice is a request for information/sources sought on providing services of Emergency Medical Ambulance service and Non Emergency Patient Transportation services in support of Ft. Lewis and McChord, AFB, Washington. A basic scope of responsibilities is provided below. Providing ALS/BLS response to incidents on Ft Lewis and McChord: EMERGENCY MEDICAL RUNS Annual BLS 660 patients ALS 800 patients NON EMERGENCY MEDICAL RUNS BLS On Post Ambulatory Van 1- 5 patients 100 trips WAIT TIME 440 hours OXYGEN USE E Cylinder Oxygen 400 each MAIN Tank (M-125) Oxygen 400 each Contractor furnishes communication devices to ED. Participation in three mass casualty exercises annually. Mass casualty support both on and off post. All other supplies would be considered in per run compensation. Maintaining mutual aid agreements in Pierce County would be reqired without separate compensation. Contractor would not be required to station rigs at MTF, but space for that could be made available as well as an area for staff to write reports, etc. Contractor would have to provide own furnishings/office equipment. (Minimum response time would be established necessitating some stationing of rigs on post.)
