Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into a sole source cooperative agreement with McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516, for the demonstration of prospective technology improvements for the F/A-18 Weapon System. The purpose of the cooperative agreement is to demonstrate advanced concepts, systems and technologies on the F/A-18 aircraft. As the designer, developer, integrator and producer of the F/A-18 Aircraft, McDonnell Douglas Corporation is the only source possessing the unique knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform the described effort. The contemplated cooperative agreement will be at no cost to NAVAIR
