Description

Furnishing all labor, equipment, materials & supervision required to install automatic door operators on abt 30 locations (bathroomn and/or suite doors)at this medical facility. Work includes modifying existing partition walls, procurement of doors & door hardware, in addition to electrical service installation, testing, required permitting. Installers of door hardware must be Factory Certified. Licensed electrician will provide power from designated panels to new door operators. All work shall be performed pursuant to all local, state, and federal regulations. All requests for bid documents must be in writing and accompanied by a $100.00 refundable bid deposit. Bid Deposit must be in the form of a company or cashier's check, or money order made payable to: "VA Medical Center/508." SOL will be issued on a first come first serve basis. ALL REQUESTS FOR BID PACKAGES MUST BE IN WRITING ACCOMPANY BY DEPOSIT. NO FAX OR TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. EST. construction cost between $100,000 and $250,000. Est. issue dtd o/a 7-17-01. BOD: 8-17-01. Contract award is subject to availability of funds and requires a 120 day bid acceptance period. Pursuant to FAR 19.1007(b), this is an unrestricted procurement.
