Description

The Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, 1201 Broad Rock Boulevard, Richmond, VA, intends to negotiate a sole source commercial item procurement with Radionics Service and Supply Corporation, 22 Terry Avenue, Burlington, MA, for a Lightweight ARC System with A Universal Compact Head Ring Assembly, Phantom Base Assembly, Universal Compact Localizer Frame Assembly, and Stereotactic Target Calculation Software System. This equipment is needed to perform state-of-the art neurosurgical procedures on-site at the VA. This proposed contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than July 18, 2001. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
