Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates a single award contract for services of a Contractor to provide clinical care for CDC workers with potential work exposures. The services included but are not limited to 1) develop a protocol; 2) conduct training of Contractor Employees; 3) transport patients from CDC Atlanta Metro campuses, the Atlanta airport, other Atlanta Hospital Emergency Rooms or employee's home; and 4) provide the facility and services necessary to receive, isolate, conduct examinations, prepare diagnosis, determine treatment and treat patients. Offerors must be geographically located within the Atlanta Metro area. This procurement is for a period of twelve months from the date of award with four twelve-month option periods for a total of 60 months. The offeror's proposed personnel will be required to meet minimum qualification requirements. The offeror's proposed facility will be required to meet minimum requirements. These minimum requirements will be defined in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in February 2002. The scheduled solicitation issue date is approximately July 30, 2001. Only written requests for this solicitation will be honored. No telephone requests will be accepted.
