Description

The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), located in Greenville Illinois, 62246, has a requirement for Dental Hygienist services. The contractor will provide dental hygiene services and oral health instruction to inmates that are referred to the contractor by the FCI Dental Staff. The contractor will make entries into the inmates Medical record and make follow-up appointments and recommendations. The contractor will work independently but monitored by the Chief Dental Officer. The rate of remuneration is stated as a 4-hour session with a maximum of six (6)sessions per week. The estimated quantity of sessions is 312 per 12 month performance period. The government intends to award a base period effective approximately 10/01/2001 -- 9/30/2001 with an additional four (4) option periods. The work to be performed inside of a penal institution, security requirements will apply include but not limited to a urinalysis test and background check.
