Description

The US Army Intelligence Center and Fort Huachuca and Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center will host the third annual language conference 1 2 November 2001. The purpose of the conference will be to bring together in a conference and workshop format military, industry, and academic technical language experts with their ideas concepts, projects, and working models. To discuss heritage speaker issues and present military job skill language training programs. All participation will be at no cost to the government. There will be a minimal conference attendance fee. The theme is to raise the level of job orientated language proficiency of military linguists through development of task-based job skill language programs.
