- Description
- The work consists of constructing a cast-in-place, concrete walled, earth bermed building with concrete wing walls and stone veneer facade. The work also includes a new lift station with associated piping and utilities, as well as a concrete entry plaza with benches and a concrete decorative compass. The building will be heated with natural gas and will be mechanically ventilated with air-to-air heat recovery in the ventilation system. A fire alarm system and a fire protection sprinkler system will also be provided. Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site is located approximately 8 miles northeast of La Junta, CO, (Otero County) on State Highway 149. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation documents will be available on or about July 27 with bid opening to be held 30 days later. This acquisition is solicited under full and open competition. Award will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act. NAICS code 233320. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
