Description

The Army requires a contract to perform Phase II of Upgrade and Repairs to Airfield on Hunter AAF, GA. The work includes but is not necessarily restricted to, the following: removal and replacement of concrete slabs and asphalt paving; installation of taxiway, fuel island, and holding pad lighting; construction of pre-engineered storage shelter; and installation of fencing. Period of performance is 300 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This requirement is solicited on an unrestricted basis under NAICS 234110/SIC 1611. The small business size standard for this NAICS/SIC is $27.5M. A bid guarantee in the amount of 20% of the bid price, or $3M, whichever is less, is required. Interested parties are highly encouraged to attend a site visit. Date and time for site visit will be set forth in the solicitation. Interested parties are also reminded that performance and payment bonds, equal to 100% of the contract price, will be required after award of a contract. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $5M and $10M.
