See numbered Note 26. NSN 1005-01-479-8483 -- Body Armor, Fragment being procured in accordance with PTI (1GGT0) part number 3TEX-NFV. Requirement is for 500 each with 250 each being shipped to N00189 Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 and 250 each being shipped to N00244 San Diego, CA 92132-5044. There is a 100% option included in the solicitation. Offers are requested FOB and inspection and acceptance at destination. Required delivery is 60 days. This is an unrestricted procurement and all responsible offers will be considered. The solicitation will be available on the web after 7/27/01 at "http://dibbs.dscccols.com". A written quote is required to be returned to the address in block 8 of the RFP by the date and time specified. No DIBBS qutoes will be accepted. There are no drawings available for this NSN. Both Delivery Evaluation Factor and Automated Best Value System apply to this requirement. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in the solicitation.
