Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue solicitation N00024-01-R-5403 to Raytheon Systems Company (RSC) of Tucson, Arizona for procurement of FY02/03 production requirements in support of the Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) Program. Requirements include Launching Canisters, Guided Missile Round Packs (GMRPs), MK-47 Mod 6 RAM GMRPs, Blast Test Vehicles, MK-20 Mod 2 Active Optical Target Detectors (AOTDs), AOTD spares and disassembly, integration, test and recertification of newly configured Block 1 GMRPs. RSC is the qualified producer of the RAM and the only known source that currently possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise of the equipment required to satisfactory meet Fleet requirements.
