COVER, FITTED, VEHICULAR. I/A/W (16236) CS-2540-SV-0718. SOLICITATION IS FOR AN INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT INCLUDING ONE BASE YEAR WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF FOUR OPTION YEARS. ESTIMATED ANNUAL DEMAND QUANTITY IS 263 EACH. SOLICIATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR HUBZONE. REQUESTED DELIVERY IS THE INITIAL 150 EACH PER ORDER IN 120 DAYS WITH EACH ADDITIONAL OF 35 EACH OF THE ORDER QUANTITY IN 30 DAY INCREMENTS THEREAFTER. DESTINATIONS MAY VARY. THIS ITEM REQUIRES A FIRST ARTICLE TEST OF 1 EACH TO BE TESTED IN 90 DAYS. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s): 9, 26, 27. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of July 27, 2001 Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
