Description
This will be a Firm-fixed Price Requirements contract for repair of the following components of the Combined Altitude Radar Altimeter (CARA) System: (1) Signal Data Converter, applicable to APN-232, NSN 5895-01-259-2564CW, P/N 85900000-03, Quantity: 268 EA. (2): Signal Data Converter, applicable to APN-232, NSN 5895-01-445-1432CW, P/N 85900000-04, Quantity: 10 each. Turn-around time will be 21 days after receipt of reparable or delivery order, whichever is later. The contract will be for a 12-month Base Period with four (4) 12-month options. The approximate issue date will 28 July 01 with the approximate response date of 27 Aug. 01. The solicitation will be placed on the web at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ or at the alternate site of http://pkec.robins.af.mil/ if there are problems with that site. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
