Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This request for quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. This acquisition is unrestricted. CLIN 1: Infrared thermal imaging portable cameras 0003 EA. Cameras must include the following minimum requirements. Lens: 50 mm with focus range of 18" to infinity; Weight: 5 lbs. or less; Detector Type/Format: Uncooled BST; Spectral Response: 7 to 14 microns; Cooling: None; Routine Start-up Time: under 60 seconds; Sensitivity (NETD Celsius typical): 100mk; Digital Display Type: Color LCD; Digital Storage Capability: required; Image Transfer: via PCMCIA drive or floppy disk drive to include any required software; Image File Format: 8-bit BMP and/or JPEG; Interfaces: VCR compatible video outputs via SMPTE-170M & NTSC, Simple pushbutton controls, RS-232 serial port; rechargeable battery with extra replacement set and AC/DC battery charger; Flash memory card with PCMCIA adapter; NTSC output video cable; Lens cap; cleaning equipment; neck strap; hand strap; operator's manual; durable carrying/shipping case; dust and moisture protective jacket and computer software to interpret images. Delivery will be required no later than 08/30/01. Quote shall include shipping. The cameras will be shipping to the following zip codes: 08640, 36608 and 94949. Final acceptance will be at destination. FAR Provision 52.212-2 applies and award will be based on price and technical capability of the product offered.
