Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision to furnish and install refrigeration systems to building 204 at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, Beltsville, Maryland 20705. All work is to be completed within 120 calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. The applicable NAICS Code is 23332 with a small business standard of $27.5M. This requirement is solicited on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. A reasonable number of copies of the solicitation package are available, on a first-come-first-served basis, and will be available on or about July 26, 2001. Written request only, specifying the RFQ number (13-3K47-01) submitted to the address above or faxed to 301/504-5009. Only one site visit is to be scheduled. Written quotations by facsimile are acceptable on or before August 10, 2001 at 4:30 p.m. (EST). Award will be made to the responsive/responsible offeror at a fair and reasonable price. A firm fixed price purchase order to be awarded approximately August 17, 2001.
