Description

The USDA, ARS, MSA, Stoneville, Mississippi intent on purchasing a equal to Kubota Model MX110 Tractor that has the following required features in order to mett our mission requiremnts: 2 wd cab, 2 remote 10.0-16f 2 front tires, 18.4 R-34 R1, power adjust rear tires, integra factory ROPS certified cab, front weight, quick hitch, power shift transmission.Other mission requirments are that this Tractor type must have power adjusting rear wheels that the operator only loosen 5 or 6 bolts on each wheel, start the tractor and drive forward or can move backwards a few feet, tapping the brakes and allowing the wheel to side in or out to the desired width. The time difference between performing the operations desire is 1 to 1 1/2 hours with power adjust wheels requiring only 15 minutes to make a change in wheel width. The Tractor desired must be able to perform 40" and 30" row spacings by changing the wheel width. This particular type of wheel allows the operator to change the tire width between the two rear wheels. This Tractor acquisition must meet the buy american act (Domestic Perference)along with an enforceable service agreement. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the formate in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotation are being requested and a written RFQ solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. Delivery of the Tractor shall be within 30 days or sooner and complete with service agreement to be honored by a near dealership within a 30 mile radius from Stoneville, Mississippi. Offers must provied a price for comparison of other bids and a commerical warrenty. Offerors are to be received not later than 3:00 (CST), July 30, 2001 at the USDA. ARS.
