Description

TACOM-ROCK ISLAND intends to procure Army Targetry Systems through solicitation DAAE20-01-R-0083. This procurement action initially included a segment covering Small Arms Live Fire Ranges (Turnkey, Hardwired, Radio Frequency and Portable). The Small Arms segment of this solicitation issued 29Jun2001 and responses to the Small Arms segment are currently due by 30Jul2001. The solicitation will now be amended to include a second segment covering Armor Live Fire Ranges (Hardwired, Radio Frequency and Portable). The solicitation will be amended again at a later time to include subsequent segments covering range requirements that have not been defined sufficiently for publication. Solicitation DAAE20-01-R-0083 will result in multiple awards of Ten Year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with firm fixed prices. The guaranteed minimum is $50,000.00 for each contract awarded under each segment of this solicitation regardless of the number of CLINS awarded. The estimated issue date for the solicitation amendment that will request offers for Armor Live Fire Ranges is 30Jul2001. The estimated response date for the Armor Live Fire Range segment is 30Aug2001. This solicitation was issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download the amendment on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation was issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list.
