- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to modify a previous announcement to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company, P.O. Box 483, Simsbury, CT 06070-0483. This announcement changes the requirement from fabricating (3) sets of Anti-Personnel Obstacle Breaching System (APOBS) Component Cut-Away Models to fabricating four (4) sets. This is the only change to this announcement the remainder of the requirement remains unchanged. The APOBS is a lightweight, self contained, two-man portable line charge capable of breaching wire obstacles and clearing footpaths through anti-personnel (AP) minefields. The APOBS Component Cut-away models are inert versions of the hardware produced by Ensign-Bickford that are cut in half and covered with a clear plastic cover, to allow one to view the inside of the component. Each hardware set will include an inert APOBS Rocket Motor, Grenade and Fuze. No RFP is available for competitive bidding. However, interested parties may submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement. No telephonic requests will be accepted. Make all requests to the contact person listed above.
