Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) to purchase on a sole source basis with General Signal Corporation, Dielectric Communications Division, Tower Hill Road, Raymond, ME 04071 for the repair of twenty four 1-5/8 Directional Couplers, Part Number 0309325. The order will be firm fixed price. Dielectric Communications is the only firm certified with the expertise and resources to perform all requirements within the required timeframe. The 1-5/8 Directional Couplers are used as a RF signal phase sample source signal used to provide an active phase control of specific antenna input points to assure these inputs are all in phase with each other. Repair is to be accomplished by retrofitting a new RF signal output port connection plate. The directional couplers will be shipped to Dielectric Communications for repair and returned after repair and testing is complete. This procurement will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification Code is 334419, size standard 500 employees. The procurement is rated DO-S10. This announcement constitutes the only written solicitation. This is Request for Quote Number N00178-01-Q-1043. Interested parties must be able to demonstrate in writing their capability to provide the requested expertise and services in a timely fashion. The closing date for receipt of quotation is 2:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) 20 July 2001. Anticipated award date is 27 July 2001.
