Description

Solicitation Provide all labor, equipment, materials, services, tools, transportation, supplies and incidentals for the preparation of the site and perform all work necessary for the construction of an approximately 1600 square foot facility, two fifty thousands gallon +/- fuel storage tanks, associated piping and valves, fuel filter storage building and canopy for the Nevada Air National Guard. The facility will be constructed at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The facility will consist of both administrative and industrial areas. The work includes but in not limited to: Demo of an existing facility, construction of a single story structure with concrete foundation and floor slab, masonry exterior and interior walls, standing seam metal roof over steel trusses, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, public address system, fire detection. Exterior work to include site work, excavation, concrete, asphalt paving, sewer, water, underground electrical, natural gas, and communications. The construction dollar range is 1,000,000 to 5,000,000 under SIC Code 1541. It is anticipated the contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) from an Invitation for bid (IFB). All work must be completed within 365 days of Notice to Proceed. Plans and specification should be available about July 25, 2001. Limited sets of plans and specifications will be made available, on a First Come First Serve basis until supply is exhausted. Bid opening will be at 2:00pm on 30 August 2001. Bid documents can be obtained by written request, accompanied by a non-refundable check, in the amount of $100.00 made payable to U.S. Treasury, USPFO for Nevada, contracting office, 2601 S. Carson St., Carson City, NV 89701-5596. Mandatory pre-bid site visit will be conducted at 2:00pm on 16 August 2001 at the Nevada Air National Guard Base, 1776 National Guard Way, Reno, NV 89502.
