- Description
- The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, approved materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and management necessary to perform the surface preparation, priming, interior painting or coating of walls, floors, ceilings, doors, stairs, cabinets, shelving, and other miscellaneous items as directed in specified rooms and areas of various buildings and structures. Also included is surface preparations, priming and complete painting or coating of specified exterior surfaces, walls, doors, stairwells, columns and trim. Surfaces to be painted include both new and previously painted surfaces. Also included is removal and disposal of lead containing paint, from various buildings and structures basewide, to include housing areas as indicated, any other incidental related work, at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, and Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, Fallbrook Annex, Fallbrook, CA S.I.C. Code: 1721, NAICS Code: 235210, "Painting and Wall Covering Contractors". The small business size standard is $11.5 Million. The contract minimum is $5,000.00 with an estimated range of more than $10,000,000.00. Contract term is for a base period with four option periods of up to 12 months each. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 2:00 p.m., LOCAL TIME, 05 September 2001, at Building 22101, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. Award is not restricted to small businesses. Large business concerns considered for award are required to submit a subcontracting plan. There will be no disadvantaged business evaluation preference, however, in accordance with FAR 52.219-4 there will be a Hub-zone evaluation preference. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. This solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading, free of charge, via http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official planholder's list will be maintained on, and may be printed from, this website. All prospective offerors and planrooms are required to register as planholders on this website. Hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROM of this solicitation or the planholder's list will NOT be provided by the Government. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing and may be faxed to (760) 725-3222. No telephone or E-mail questions will be accepted. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will only be posted on this website. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view this website for any amendments made to this solicitation. This solicitation will be made available for viewing and downloading approximately August 6, 2001. Bid opening will be 30 days from the date available for viewing.
