Description

Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services and supervision necessary to repair reserve combat arms "CATS" training facility, at Travis AFB, CA 94535-2632. The principle items of work shall include but are not limited to the following: providing demolition and removal, clearing and grubbing, excavation and fill, water distribution, concrete reinforcement, cast-in-place concrete, architectural concrete, reinforced masonry, carpentry, installation of doors, frames and windows, fire detection and alarm system, insulation, piping, plumbing, lighting, sealants, and metal fabrications. All work required by the plans and specifications shall be accomplished by the contractor even though minor items required may not be specifically mentioned in the above listing. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Past Performance Tradeoff (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based on the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The proposed contact herein is restricted to all qualified HUBZONE small business concerns. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. All responsible offerors must be CCR registered to be considered for award. The closing date and time, 13 Aug 01/4:00pm, for submission of offerors will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on electronic Posting System (EPS), on or about 27 Jul 01, which can be accessed at www.eps.gov/. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation and planholder list. Telephone, written, Facsimile, or email request for the solicitation package and planholder list will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the EPS site for the release of the solicitation package and any pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package.
