Description

The work includes, but is not limited to all labor, supervision, tools, material, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide demolition and removal of structures including asbestos abatement and lead based paint removal, backfilling, grading, asphalt placement, hydro-seeding and incidental related work. The work shall be located at various sites within the Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California, Naval Weapons Station, Fallbrook Detachment, Fallbrook, California, and Naval and Marine Corps facilities within San Diego County by means of an Indefinite Quantity contract. S.I.C. Code: 1795, NAICS Code: 235940, "Wrecking and Demolition Contractors", and the small business size standard is $11.5 Million. The contract minimum guarantee is $5,000.00 with an estimated range of more than $10,000,000.00. Contract term is for a base period with four option periods. The bid opening is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., LOCAL TIME, August 27, 2001, at Building 22101, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. Award is not restricted to small businesses. Large business concerns considered for award are required to submit a subcontracting plan. There will be no disadvantaged business evaluation preference, however, in accordance with FAR 52.219-4 there will be a Hub-zone evaluation preference. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium.
