Description

Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to remove and replace existing gate valves and to install new gate valves in strict accordance with the Technical Provisions and drawings. Magitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The period of performance is 60 calendar days. The government is considering whether or not to set-aside this acquisition for HUBZone concerns only. If you are a HUBZone firm interested in this project and reasonably expect to submit a proposal, please respond by email to Matt.Sanders@grandforks.af.mil. Your response must include a positive statement of your remaining bonding capability, list of similar jobs involving installation of water valves within the last three years. You must also include references and all contracts now in progress. Your response must be complete and include this information; otherwise the government will assume a reasonable offer by your firm will not be expected. Your response is requested by 27 July 2001. If you do not respond by this date, we will assume you are not interested in this project. Depending on responses from HUBZone concerns, this acquisition will either be a HUBZone set-aside or an unrestricted acquisition. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offer eligibility. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. We anticipate a proposal due date 13 August 2001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234910. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database a web site http://safq.hq.af.mil/contracting/ccro.html. This solicitation will only be available by downloading the solicitation at web site http://www.eps.gov. No paper copies or CD-ROMs will be issued.
