Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Region 6, Olympic National Forest, is issuing a request for quotation to complete work on the Prairie Creek Storm Damage Repair Project located on the Pacific Ranger District near Quinault, Washington. The work items consist of staking, clearing and grubbing, excavation, riprap placement, placing crushed aggregate, culvert removal, culvert installation and seeding. To locate the project site at M.P. 5.3, travel 3.8 miles north from Amanda Park on State Hwy 101, turn right onto forest service road 2190 (Prairie Creek Road) and continue for 5.3 miles. Work starts on or about August 6, 2001, with approximately 70 days to complete the project. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The Davis Bacon Act applies to this acquisition. This solicitation will be issued as full and open competition and as a Commercial Items Request for Quotation in accordance with FAR Part 12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 234990, with a size standard of $27.5M.
