Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. Solicitation 01SQ308090 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions anc clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This solicitation is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Small business-Small Purchase Set-Aside (100%). North American Industry Classification System Classification is 332321 and the Business Size Standard is 500 Employees. The Bureau of Reclamation, Parker Dam, Machine shop Building has a firm fixed price requirement for the following item: A. Two, 16' wide x 12' high insulated steel roll up doors shall be installed as shown on drawings . The Contractor shall furnish all materials required for the installation of the insulated steel roll up doors, including guides, curtains, hoods, brackets, electric operator, bolts , nuts, and all other accessories required for complete installation. B. The insulated steel roll up doors shall be equal to the 625 series "Stormtite" insulated rolling door manufactured by The Overhead Door Corporation, P.O. Box 809046, Dallas, TX 75380, or the FMWI model insulated rolling steel door manufactured by The Cookson Company, 2417 S. 50th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85043. Call the Contracting Officer for Building Drawings @702 293 8601.The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to the acquisition: 52.212-03, Offeror Representation and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Oct99) Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of FAR 52.212-03; 52.212-04, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (May99); Clause 52.2212-05, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues of Executive Orders -- Commercial item (May99). Requests for drawing must be sent in writing or faxed to the Contracting Officer listed above no later than 1630 hours 6 August 2001.
