The Acquistion Management Department National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD has a requirement for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. NNMC intends to award a sole sourced purchase order to Boston Scientific EP Technologies 2710 Orchard Parkway San Jose, CA 95134-2012. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 339112. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The following items will be procured; CLIN 0001: Ten (10)each 5031T 7FR Standard Curve Ablation Catheter; CLIN 0002: Ten (10)each 5086T 8FR Standard Curve Ablation Catheter; CLIN 0003: Ten (10)each 5665 Soft Tip Sheath 120 degree curve III; CLIN 0004: Ten (10)each 9900 9FR 9MHz Ultra Ice Catheter; CLIN 0005: Ten (10)each 2028BL Octipolar Ext. Distal Standard Curve; CLIN 0006: Ten (10)each 5086TK2 8FR Large Curve Ablation Catheter. FAR 52.212-2 "Evaluation -- Commercial Items (JAN 1999)" applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in descending order of precedence: (i)technical capability (ii)price. The minimum specifications are as follows: 1. A steerable catheter used to record electrical potentials from the HIS bundle, right and left ventricle, and the coronary sinus. 2. The catheter shall be able to deliver pacing stimuli from an external source to the heart. 3. Shall have ergonomic handle allowing bi-direction distal curvature up to 270 degrees. 4: Catheter electrodes shall be made of platinum only. 5. Catheter shall have minimum 8mm distal platinum tip. 6. Catheter shall be available in asymmetric curves.
