Description

The Colville National Forest requires presale services on the 2001 Deadmen Timber Sale on the Three Rivers Ranger District. The sale area is located in Ferry County, Washington. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools and transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. Services will include, but not limited to: GPS traversing, hand traversing, tree marking, painting proposed cutting unit boundaries, and performing cruises to determine tree volumes and tree quality. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about August 3, 2001. Estimated start work date is on or about September 1, 2001, with an estimated completion date of 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Quotes are estimated to be due August 24, 2001. An Alternate Payment Protection (payment bond) will be required upon award. NAICS code is 115310. The project is 100 percent small business set-aside.
