Description

The Colville National Forest requires presale services on the Sullivan Lake and Newport Ranger Districts for fiscal year 2001. Currently, funding is not available for this project. The services will be located in Pend Oreille County, Washington. The task order contract is intended to provide the Government with flexibility to order timber sale preparation services as the need arises and funding is available. Multiple awards are anticipated. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools and transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. Services will include, but not limited to: GPS traversing, hand traversing, tree marking, painting proposed cutting unit boundaries, and performing cruises to determine tree volumes and tree quality. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about August 3, 2001. The contract period of performance will be October 1, 2001, through September 30, 2002, with task orders being placed when services are needed and funding is available. Quotes are estimated to be due August 24, 2001. NAICS code is 115310. The project is 100 percent small business set-aside. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000.
