S-Notice of intent to negotiate a Sole Source Procurement with System Technology Associates, Inc., (now known as SI International), Colorado Springs, CO, for the completion of communications installation work associated with current construction of the NORAD/USSPACECOM Facility (Building #2), Peterson AFB, CO. The majority (80-90%)of the communications installation work will be completed by 30 September 2002 under contract DACA45-97-C-0059; the contract with STA will expire on that date. This sole source procurement for approximately $8,000,000 will continue on from that date and allow for timely completion of all communications installations in conjunction with the construction for this building only. This work will include completion of non-severable work including (but not limited to) completion and transition of Administrative Voice Systems, Local Area Networks, both secure and nonsecure, Command and Control Systems, Red Switch/Secure Voice, Video Conferencing and Visual Information Systems, and all required warranties. This notice of intent is for information purposes only; therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement.
