Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a class of orders under NAVAIR Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number N00019-00-G-0425 for various supplies and services in support of the E-2C Aircraft and Weapon System. These supplies and services will consist of engineering investigations, studies for engineering enhancements and changes, repair and modification of Government Furnished Property (GFP), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), spare and repair parts, engineering and technical services, support equipment, special tooling, the design, manufacture, assembly, testing, prototyping, production, installation, forward fit and retrofit of change kits, engineering enhancements and changes, contractor plant services and factory training, technical manuals, engineering drawings, Standard Depot Level Maintenance (SDLM), Operations Security Programs (OPSECs), Repair of Repairables (ROR), inspection, test, repair, modification and restoration/return to ready-for-issue condition of all major assemblies, sub-units and peculiar ground support equipment and technical, administrative and financial data in support of the E-2C Aircraft and Weapon System. NAVAIR intends to negotiate these orders on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bethpage, New York. Northrop Grumman Corporation is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer and systems integrator of the E-2C Aircraft and Weapon System and as such is the only firm with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to fulfill these requirements.
