Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Metrum Datatape, 605 E Huntington Dr., Monrovia, CA on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase tear down & inspection services for 5 recorder/reproducers for repair. Metrum Datatape is the original manufacturer of the RSR-512 recorder/reproducer. The recorder is used as a data collection tool for Project Beartrap. Metrum Datatape is the only known company that has the peculiar test equipment required to effect component level testing & repair of the end item. They have proprietary rights to the equipment. The Government intents to negotiate on a sole source basis with Metrum Datatape. Written requests for copies of Request for Quotations may be faxed to (301) 757-0200 to the attention of Betty Goddard. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
