Description
The U.S. Customs intends to issue a purchase order for the following items. Item 1. Quantity 216. Protective Training Mask. The mask must have full coverage around the face, chin, top of the head and sides. It must have a clear impact resistant lens. Both the lens and the mask must be capable of withstanding multiple shots of FX Marking paint cartridges. The inside must be padded to insure a snug fit. The padded material must be covered with a non-absorbing moisture resistant finish that can be easily cleaned and disinfected. It must be designed to fit securely on the head when used in dynamic training scenarios. The mask must be equipped with vents to allow for air circulation. However, the vents must be capable of stopping a direct impact from an FX Marking round. Item 2. Throat Collar. Quantity 216. The throat collar must be designed to protect the throat and neck area. The collar must be capable of withstanding multiple shots of FX Marking paint cartridges, without causing injury to the person wearing the equipment. It must be designed to fit securely around the neck when used in dynamic training scenarios. It must be made of a machine washable fabric that can easily be disinfected. Item 3. Protective Training Vest. Quantity 214. The vest must be designed to minimize the felt impact of a simunition FX ammunition. It must protect the chest, waist and back. . It must be designed to fit securely around the torso when used in dynamic training scenarios. It must be made of a machine washable fabric that can easily be disinfected. Written responses should include pricing and data sufficient to determine capability. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
