Description

Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to installing a 115kV Line Bay, remove four 115kV Inline Switches, remove four 69/12.47kV Transformers and Associated Foundations, a 69kV Disconnect Switch and a 69kV Fuse, install a 115/12.47kV Transformer and Foundation and Modify the 12.47kV Buswork to accommodate the transformer. Install a 115kV Disconnect Switch and 115kV Fuse. Correct substation yard erosion, construct three spans of 115kV Transmission Line and install two 115kV Inline Switches. Work shall be conducted at the Hoo Doo Tap Line and the Pitch Fork Tap Line, located in Park, Wyoming and the Carter Mountain Substation, located in Hot Springs, Wyoming. The magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The estimated completion date is 300 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. There will be only one award from this solicitation. Therefore, all Bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none basis". The solicitation package will be issued hard copy Free of Charge. Note: In accordance with FAR 5.102-3, Western procurement officials will be limiting availability of the solicitation package. Therefore, only a Limited Number of Copies will be issued on a "first-come, first-serve" basis. This solicitation will be issued on or about July 31, 2001. Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required. This proposed procurement is Full and Open Competition. National American Industry Classification Code is 234920 and the applicable size standard is $27.5 million.
