Description

Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, materials and appliances necessary to perform all operations in connection with the construction of a Can Wash addition to the existing Central Vehicle Wash Facility, in strict accordance with project/solicitation/contract documents. Work includes Divisions 3, 4, 5 (metal fabrication/aluminum dock bridge with hydraulic system/stainless steel rinse racks) 8, (metal doors/overhead doors), 13 (21' by 58' engineered building addition), 15 (mechanical/plumbing/central pressure washer/domestic hot water system (boiler/storage tank/expansion tank)/scullery and hand-wash sinks/unit heaters), and 16. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Price Requirements Construction". This procurement is subject to the availability of funds, and is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. This will be a set-aside for competition restricted to HUBZone small business (SB) concerns issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.1305 (b). All responsible HUBZone SB concerns may submit a bid, which will be considered. A SB size standard of $27,500,000 and NAICS Code 233320 applies. The solicitation will be available for downloading from Fort Drum's web page. No copies will be mailed out and no bidder's mailing list will be maintained. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about August 6, 2001 and that the DUE DATE for receipt of offers will be approximately 30 days thereafter. Bids must be supplied in hard copy form to Fort Drum's Directorate of Contracting by the date and time specified within the solicitation. No electronic bids will be accepted. Failure to respond to any amendments to the solicitation may render the bid to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected, so the web page should be monitored for any/all amendments.
