Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The purpose of this solicitation is for the contractor to provide and secure repair of roofs, the complete installation of new roof systems to existing structures at various locations, and any necessary preparatory work as required to make structures complete and removal of various existing roofing systems, flashing, counter flashing, cants, curbs, fascia, drip edge, roof insulation, decking, gutters and downspouts, blocking, and other incidental related work. The new work includes, but is not limited to, the repair of various existing roofing systems and the installation of completely new roofing systems, flashing, counterflashing, cants, curbs, roof insulation, roof decking (as required), raising curbs, drains, gutters, and downspouts, and other incidental related work which provides a complete and usable facility after the work has been completed.This solicitation will result in a firm-fixed price indefinite quantity contract with one base year and two option years. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 per year. There will be a minimum guarantee of $25,000 for the base period with a maximum value of $2,000,000. Options will not have a minimum guarantee but will have a maximum value of $2,000,000 per option. The cumulative cost, if all options are exercised will be a minimum of $25,000 and a contract maximum of $6,000,000. The solicitation shall state that the government may exercise an option any time within the 12 month period following award of the basic contract or following award of an option. This is an unrestriced procurement. The north American Industrial Classification (NAICS) is 235610 , Siding and Sheet Metal Contractors with a size standard of $11.5M. Site visit information will be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation will be available only in the electronic medium and can be downloaded free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil under pre-solicitation notice N6247701-B-1029. There will be no hardcopies of this solicitation issued. Amendments will be posted on the web site http://esol.navfac.navy.mil for downloading. This will be the only method of distribution; therefore IT IS THE BIDDERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THE SOLICITATION. Bidders must be registered in the Contrator's Central Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr2000.com in order to participate in this procurment.
