Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for project No. 806-CM3013, Gravesite Development and Site Improvements at Camp Butler National Cemetery located near Springfield, Illinois. Work on this project shall include but is not limited to general construction, road alterations, walks, curbs, grading, drainage, landscaping, electrical work, concrete work, structural, utility systems, tree removal, brick paver work and construction of new Service Building and Committal Shelter and certain other items shown in contract drawings and specifications. The cost range is between $1,000,000 -- $2,000,000. NAICS Code 233320 applies. This solicitation is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Completion time is 365 days after Notice to Proceed. Bid documents will be available O/A 8/3/01 with bid opening date O/A 9/5/01. A non-refundable fee of $40.00 is required for each bid package set requested. Only written requests on company letterhead accompanied by a certified check, money order or cashier's check made payable to Department of Veterans Affairs and listing the solicitation number will be accepted. A maximum of two (2) sets will be issued to firms intending to bid as prime contractor and one (1) set to subcontractors. All requests with checks will be sent directly to RLR VA Medical Center, ATTN Kathy Kaler (90C), 1481 West Tenth Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Award is subject to availability of funds. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by this agency.
