Description

The project consists of construction of improvements that need to be made on the existing water system at the Chemult Ranger District. Included will be the supply and construction of a new water tank, replacement and/or additional valving, installation of new 8 inch or 6 inch waterlines, supply and installation of new fire hydrants and service disconnects and reconnects. The contractor is expected to provide material, equipment and labor to complete the project as per contract specifications. All work will be done as per Adkins Consulting Engineers drawings and specifications. The construction site is located along the Cascade Mountain Range and is subject to cold weather and snow beginning in mid October and lasting until mid May. Approximate issue date is August 1 and approximate open date is August 27, 2001. Expected start date is September 17, 2001. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a Hubzone set aside.
