Description

Crushed Aggregate for Shoreline Stabilization in the Twin Knobs Recreation Area on Cave Run Lake on the Morehead Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Rowan County, Kentucky. This procurement involves furnishing and delivering approximately 5,000 Tons of KY Class III Channel Liner to a designated site or sites in the Twin Knobs Recreation Area. All crushed aggregate shall meet the composition and grading requirements for the specified sizes of course aggregate as specified in the Kentucky 2000 Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. This procurement is in NAICS Code 421320, Brick, Stone, and Related Materials Wholesalers with a size standard of 500 employees. This project will be solicited using the Request for Quotation format and will be solicited as a small business set-aside. The estimated project value is between $25,000 and $100,000.
