Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division plans to enter into a firm fixed price supply type contract with L-3 Communications Corp, Ocean Systems, 15825 Roxford Street, Sylmar, CA 91342-3597. The requirement is for updates AN/ALQ-13F Intermediate and Organizational level publications; fabrication and delivery of four interim spare kits each consisting of 1 each Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT)/Automatic Battery Disconnect (ABD) transmitter, 1 each A12 CCA and 1 each Battery Nose Assembly; upgrading five spare transmitters to the IGBT/ABD configuration; repairing five non-Ready-For-Issue (RFI) transducers (that are either in the IGBT or non-IGBT configuration) prior to entering the IGBT/ABD upgrade process and providing west coast engineering and technical support for a period of 36 months. The requirement is in support of the AN/AQS-13F Sonar Transducer. These requirements will be procured on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. It is anticipated that the period of performance will be 3 years after contract award.
