Description

The notice for this requirement was posted in CBDNet on July 13, 2001, and appeared in the printed issue published July 17, 2001. At the end of the announcement on the CBDNet site there's field entitled "LINKDESC" <A HREF="">followed by the phrase</A> "Solicitation will be posted here on or about August 1, 2001." When the CBD announcement was submitted to the CBDNet we entered the correct URL for our PN Region website which is www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts. It was brought to our attention by potential offerors that when they clicked on the link that was published by CBDNet they weren't taken to www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts because CBDNet had entered a string of characters before the URL. When we contacted CBDNet they refused to correct the error their system had caused and suggested that we enter a modification alerting potential offerors to the error. Offerors wishing to visit our website will have to manually enter the correct URL into their browser instead of clicking on the faulty link provided by CBDNet.
