Description

Notice of Intent to issue a noncompetitive award for nonpersonal services to 1) estimate the intertidal clam growth rates from clam collections made in Prince William Sound and Glacier Bay, Alaska; 2) analyze and synthesize intertidal clam growth rate data; 3) provide raw and summary data tables on clam growth by location; and 4) prepare a report suitable for publication that summarizes intertidal clam growth relative to location and other variables including meteorological and oceanographic indices of primary productivity that may influence productivity in sea otter populations to Coastal Resources Associates, Vista, California. Coastal Resources Associates maintains the collections, database and interpretations of intertidal clam collections integral to the findings of this project. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Determination to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No additional synopsis will be published. See Numbered Note 22.
