Description
Notice of Intent to issue a noncompetitive award for nonpersonal services to collect and evaluate soil properties for the National Study of the Consequences of Fire and Fire Surrogate Treatments to Phillip Rundel, University of California, Los Angeles. Phillip Rundel is the only known source with the expertise to conduct this analysis. He is uniquely qualified based on his experience in previous soil property studies in the Sierra Nevada. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Determination to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No additional synopsis will be published. See Numbered Note 22.
