Description

Pre-Solicitation/Solicitation -- IFB N68711-00-B-8944, REHAB BEQ'S 1547 & 1548 (TP-9952MS) at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA. The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision for rehabilitation of BEQ's 1547 and 1548, and includes metal fabrications, finish carpentry, roof insulation, built-up roofing, steel doors and frames, aluminum windows. Door hardware, furring and lathing, plaster, drywall, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient tile flooring, carpet, paints and coatings, toilet and bath accessories, plumbing, HVAC, electrical wiring and lighting, and incidental related work. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the Contract Specifications. NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. Only one site visit will be offered. Bid Opening 2:00 PM, local time, 13 SEP 2001. Duration of contract 180 calendar days. Estimated Cost Range between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NOTE: Large business concerns are required to submit a subcontracting plan. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. NOTE: Bids submitted in response to this advertisement will be evaluated in compliance with FAR Clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns (Jan 1999), which is applicable to this solicitation. NAICS Code 23332/SIC Code 1522. The related Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 Million. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Plans and Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the Contractor's responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation's plans and specifications.
