Description

This project consists of providing personnel and equipment to pull back fill on 5.3 km of road and form a 20 percent outslope, pull out ditch relief pipes (Xdrains), waterbar 4.4 km of road, pull stream culvert and form channels, seeding exposed areas, and dispose of pipe materials. The project is located on the Waldport Ranger District, Siuslaw National Forest, Benton County, Oregon. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. The Government estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. A bid guarantee is required. The successful contractor shall also be required to submit payment and performance bonds prior to start of work. Contract time is 90 calendar days. Estimated start work date is September 17, 2001 (work may be extended into field season 2002). This solicitation is a Total HUB-Zone set-aside.
