Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, material, and incidentals necessary to perform all work in accordance with the Statement of Work to upgrade dormitory fire alarm systems at bldgs. 241, 242, 243, 356 at Goodfellow AFB, TX. NAICS code: 235990, Size Standard: $11.5 Million. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance time is not to exceed 90 calendar days. A written Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued and the anticipated award date is O/A 30 Sep 01. The proposed purchase is 100% Set Aside for Small Business Concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by this agency. The estimated posting date to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website of the written RFQ is 7 Aug 01. All requests for clarifications relating to this RFQ must be faxed to (915) 654-5149. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27, quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. An organized site visit will be scheduled for O/A 14 Aug 01. Access to the site will be limited to this organized site visit only. This solicitation will be available via FedBizOpps website. Interested parties should subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and go to the Notification Service area to register. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available.
