- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; request for quotes (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation documents, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This procurement is unrestricted. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. The Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, San Antonio, TX proposes to award a sole source contract to the original equipment manufacturer for 3(ea) portable patient simulators and accessories as listed:.(1) Full body patient simulator including compressor mfg 380000 & 381210 (2) Trauma modules mfg 381500 (3) portability /power adapter kit mfg 381800 (4) Video equipment package mfg TSV-1000 (5) case set for transport & storage mfg 381600 (6) PC/Laptop computer, 400 MHz processor, 4 GB Hard drive, 128 MB of RAM, 8 MB Video Card, 24x CD-ROM, Sound Card mfg PC-SIM. All offerors are to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offer or Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with offer. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical, 52.212-4, Contract and Conditions-Commercial Items, VAAR 822.210-70, 852.210-71, 852.211-77, 852.219-70. All offers are due by August 8, 2001, 5:00 p.m. CST. Offers/Bids received after the exact specified time will not be considered.
