Description

This acquisition provides for the performance of fault isolation analysis for the Shortstop Electronic Protection System (SEPS) and documentation. This effort is being fulfilled through other than full and open competition with Condor Systems, Electronic Systems Division, 996 Flower Glen Street, Simi Valley, California 93065. Condor Systems is the developer and manufacture of the Shortstop Electronic Protection System, a mobile, electronic countermeasure system designed to protect, without operator intervention, personnel and high value targets from artillery and mortar proximity radio frequency fuzes. Performance of this effort requires detailed knowledge of the SEPS System architecture and software algorithms. During the four-month performance period of the acquisition, the contractor will perform and document fault isolation and correction of the 1553B data bus and generate an interface control document for the SEPS MIL-STD-1553B data bus. A SECRET security clearance is required. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal Number is N00178-01-Q-1047. Award is being made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The offeror shall include their Cage Code Number, DUNS No, Tax Identification Number, and certification that their company is listed in the Central Contractor Registration Website. Relevant applicable clauses are available for review and may be requested from SD11 Branch, (540)653-7478. The offeror shall submit their quotation to SD118 at fax (540)653-7088. All items shall be shipped FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. Closing date is 25 July 2001. Anticipated award date is 01 August 2001.
