Description

Alder Ridge II, tree marking and thinning on 867 acres in Alder and Wash Creeks on the Emmett Ranger District. To locate the site, from Boise, Idaho, proceed to Garden Valley, Idaho, on FH 24 to Forest Road 615 (Alder Creek). Turn south on Forest Road 615 and take the first left (about one-half mile) onto Forest Road 382. Proceed about one-half mile on Forest Road 382 to the junction with Forest Road 690 (Wash Creek). Turn right (south) onto Forest Road 690 and travel about 2.5 miles to access the largest portion of the project area. The remainder of the project may be accessed via Forest Roads 615 and 610. Est. start date is 10-01-01 with 150 calendar days for completion. See Numbered Note #1.
